If you experience that your Saphe or Saphe Link app is not working, it may be due to a lack of connection to the Saphe server. This article shows how to check the connection and resolve the most common causes.
Check if you have a connection to the Saphe server
- Open the Saphe Link app.
- Tap on "Menu".
- Tap on "Status and permissions".
- Find "Saphe server" and see if it is marked with a green tick or a red cross.
If it is marked with a green tick, you have a connection. If it is red, follow the steps below.
My Saphe server is red
This can be due to several reasons. Most often, the Saphe server is red if your phone does not have a good, stable connection to the internet.
Check your internet connection
If you are in the car near your home and notice that your phone switches between wifi and data, it may be beneficial to turn off wifi and use data only.
VPN and antivirus
VPN and antivirus can negatively affect Saphe, as they may block the connection.
- Try turning these features off completely.
- Alternatively, you can whitelist the Saphe Link app within your VPN or antivirus app. This way, you allow Saphe to operate bypassing their systems.
