Fixed speed cameras and average speed checks
We purchase data about fixed speed cameras and fixed average speed checks from SCDB, which is the largest European provider of speed camera data. The list is updated continuously. When new data becomes available, it is updated in our system.
On SCDB’s website, you can see a map showing where the fixed checks are located.
Is a fixed camera or average speed check missing?
If you believe that information about a fixed speed camera or a fixed average speed check is missing, you should report it directly to SCDB via their website. When SCDB has updated its data, it will also be updated at Saphe.
Reports from users
Speed cameras stay in one place, but speed checks can appear anywhere. That’s why reports from other Saphe users are important. When a user reports a speed check, other Saphe users receive an alert.
You can help too. When you receive an alert, you can confirm that the check is actually there. This helps keep the data accurate, both for you and for everyone else on the road.
