When you update your Saphe Link app to version 5.0, you automatically get access to the new power saving feature for your Saphe Drive Pro.
You no longer have to worry about your Saphe Drive Pro running out of power, as you will be reminded via both your traffic alarm and the Saphe Link app when the battery is low - so you always know when it's time to charge.
Less than 10% power back
When your Saphe Drive Pro has less than 10% power left, you will see this image on the screen:
- You will be notified in the Saphe Link app when you are back home after a drive, so you can bring the device in and charge it.
- We recommend that you charge your Saphe Drive Pro for 6-8 hours so that it is fully charged and ready for many hours of driving.
Less than 5% power back
When the battery reaches below 5%, your Saphe Drive Pro will automatically go into power saving mode.
You will see this image on the screen indicating that power saving is activated:
In this state:
- The screen will be off while you are driving.
- The screen will only switch on when you receive an alarm (speed camera, car in emergency lane, speed camera, etc.).
- If you press the red or blue button, the screen will switch on briefly while you report.
