The update includes a completely redesigned Saphe Link app and the introduction of a power saving feature that improves the battery life of your Saphe Drive Pro.
Here's a quick overview of what's new:
- New app design and new improved navigation. You are greeted by a new home screen that gives you easy access to relevant information.
- We've added a tap bar at the bottom of the screen so you can easily navigate between: Home, Map, Menu
Power saving function
With the power saving feature, your Saphe Drive Pro stays powered for longer and you don't have to worry about sudden power outages.
Time to charge (below 10% power)
When the battery is below 10%, you will be notified via the Saphe Link app after your ride.
You can easily take your Saphe Drive Pro inside and charge it for 6-8 hours and it's ready to go again.
Power saving function (under 5% power)
The device will automatically switch to power saving mode.
You will now experience reduced functionality and the screen will be black on your Saphe Drive Pro while driving.
The screen will be black while driving and will only switch on when:
- Alarm (speed camera, traffic light, car in emergency lane, etc.).
- Press the red or blue button (reporting).
How to update the app
We recommend that you update your Saphe Link app as soon as the update is available to you.
If you have auto-update turned on
The app will update all by itself - you don't need to do anything.
If you update manually
Go to App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) → search for Saphe Link → click ‘Update’.
Attention Android users
The update will be rolled out gradually and may not be available immediately.
You can keep an eye out for it in the Google Play Store or switch on auto-update.
