Solutions for Saphe Drive Mini
Restart your Saphe Drive Mini
1. Press and hold the red button for approximately 15 seconds
2. The Bluetooth icon will then start blinking on the screen
3. The device will reconnect in the Saphe Link app
Perform a device update
1. Connect the Saphe Drive Mini to the charger.
2. Press and hold both the red and blue buttons simultaneously for approximately 15 seconds.
3. A gear icon will appear on the screen.
4. Open the Saphe Link app → Menu → Devices.
5. Under Other/Unknown Devices, you will see Saphe DFU.
6. Tap Saphe DFU, and the device will start a firmware update.
7. Once the update is complete, the Saphe Drive Mini will reconnect automatically.
8. It is recommended to keep the device connected to the charger after the update.

2. Under Other/Unknown Devices, you will see Saphe DFU.

Bluetooth Troubleshooting
1. Open Settings
2. Navigate to Bluetooth.
3. Turn it off for approximately 15 seconds, then turn it back on.
4. Your device should now appear under Other Devices.
Reinstall the Saphe Link app
In many cases, reinstalling the Saphe Link app can resolve the issue.
1. Delete the Saphe Link app from your device.
2. Restart your iPhone to perform a soft reset. Press the volume up button, then the volume down button, and finally hold the power button until the phone turns off. Important: Do not swipe to turn off; wait for the phone to power off completely.
3. Once the phone is turned back on, download the Saphe Link app again.
4. Complete the setup process and reconnect to your Saphe Drive Mini
Inaccurate GPS - Reset location
If the Saphe Link app cannot determine your location or your speed appears inaccurate, resetting the location settings may resolve the issue.
1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
2. Navigate to General.
3. SelectTransfer or Reset iPhone.
4. Choose Reset (Important: Do not select "Erase All Content and Settings").
5. Then, select Reset Location & Privacy.
Enter your passcode if prompted.
6. Tap Reset Settings.
Optional: Restart your iPhone for optimal results (see instructions above).
After resetting, you need to allow the Saphe Link app to use Bluetooth:
1. Open Settings on your iPhone again.
2. Navigate to Apps.
3. Select Saphe Link
4. Tap on Location and set it to Always.

Saphe Drive Mini does not appear under Unknown Devices
Bluetooth Troubleshooting
1. Open Settings
2. Navigate to Bluetooth.
3. Turn it off for approximately 15 seconds, then turn it back on.
4. Your device should now appear under Unknown Devices.

3. Once the phone is turned back on, download the Saphe Link app again.

Inaccurate GPS - Reset location
If the Saphe Link app cannot determine your location or your speed appears inaccurate, resetting the location settings may resolve the issue.
Note: While we typically avoid using third-party apps, in this specific case, we make an exception as it can be challenging or even impossible to correct the GPS on an Android device otherwise.
1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Search for GPS Status & Toolbox (or follow the direct link to the app on your phone).
3. Tap Install.
- 4. Open the app once it has finished installing.
- 5. When prompted, allow the app to use GPS by selecting Always Allow. You can change this setting or uninstall the app later if needed.
- 6. Access the menu by swiping from the left side of the screen toward the center.
- 7. Tap Manage A-GPS State.
- 8. Select Reset and wait while the app resets your phone’s GPS.
- 9. Restart your phone.

If downloading the app isn't possible, follow these steps instead:-
1. Open Google Maps on your phone. - 2. Tap the blue circle that indicates your current location.
- 3. Select Calibrate from the menu that appears.
- 4. Follow the on-screen instructions, which may ask you to move your phone in a specific pattern.
- 5. Restart your phone.
