If your Saphe Drive Pro (or phone or car screen) shows the wrong speed, first check the location accuracy in the Saphe Link app. Take note of what the number shows here, as it is crucial for the accuracy of the GPS.
Note: Your Saphe Drive Pro will most likely not show the exact same speed as your car does. A car usually shows that you are travelling 5-10% faster than you actually are. Your Saphe Drive Pro uses your phone's GPS to measure the speed you are travelling at.
Here's how to check the GPS in Status and Permissions:
- Open the Saphe Link app on your phone.
- Go to the menu (the three lines in the right corner).
- Select Status and Permissions
- Check which symbol is next to Location Accuracy and see which number is in brackets.
The number should preferably be below 20m to ensure the most accurate location. If the number is above 20m or there is no green tick, the GPS needs to be reset on your phone.
Note: The reset wizard varies depending on whether you have an Android phone or an iPhone. Please follow the relevant guide below.
