Once you have connected to your Saphe Drive Mini and gone through the setup in the Saphe Link app, simply make sure you have bluetooth enabled and "location" set to ‘Always’ on your phone and your Saphe Drive Mini will start up automatically when you get in the car.
You will hear the familiar beep when Saphe Drive Mini connects.
If the connection cannot be established, it will beep several times to indicate a missing connection.
If your Saphe Drive Mini is still not connecting, please review these solutions:
- iPhone - Reinstall the Saphe Link app
- iPhone - Set Location to ‘Always’
- Android - Reinstall the Saphe Link app
- Android - Set Location to ‘Always’
iPhone - Reinstall the Saphe Link app
- Delete the Saphe Link app
- Restart your iPhone to soft reset the phone. Press sound up, then sound down and finish by holding the power button until the phone switches off. Important: Do not swipe, but wait until the phone switches off.
- Then switch the phone back on and download the Saphe Link app again.
- Run through the setup again and reconnect to your Saphe Drive Mini
iPhone - Set Location to ‘Always’
- Open Settings on your phone
- Scroll down to Apps and find the Saphe Link app
- Tap Location and select Always
- Enable Precise Location on if it is not set to
Android - Reinstall the Saphe Link app
- Delete the Saphe Link app
- Restart your phone
- Then download the Saphe Link app again
- Run through the setup again and reconnect to your Saphe Drive Mini.
Android - Set Location to ‘Always’
- Location permission must be set to ‘Always’.
- Open Settings on your phone
- Tap Apps (on some phones you need to tap Applications first and then Apps)
- Select Saphe Link by scrolling down (it is typically located almost at the very bottom)
- Tap Permissions
- Select Location
- Select Always
- Switch Precise Location on if it is not set to
